For those interested in the "story behind the song", I would love to share that this was a special gift to me. One day I just had it very strongly in my heart I'd like to sing this Psalm, and as I started improvising, I had only gotten one line in and I already had goosebumps and knew I had to capture this. I immediately stopped, finished my recording setup, and recorded it all in one take, one hot summer night in the lingering twilight of a warm evening. After singing it through, afterwards I went and wrote the musical background in form of chords that would support the melody, drawing from a haunting yet beautiful minor scale with a few borrowed moments from film score and cinematic music, such as chord inversions to elevate the music that my fellow musicians will readily hear. I am considering whether to make sheet music for this also - please let me know if you are interested and if I get a few requests I will make the time to put it together.

We are in such a perilous time, with troubles of every kind all around, and it has never been more timely to listen to and sing the 91st Psalm! Being set to music, it is also much easier to memorize, for anyone who wants to have this beautiful chapter committed to memory.
